Why is it so cheap?
I've been doing this a long time! 30 Years in TV (ITV / Channel 4 / Channel 5 etc ) and 7 years as a Senior Producer Director at MTV, I'm stupidly experienced and have worked with everyone from Aerosmith to Bon Jovi to Robbie Williams, so why the hell am I making cheap videos?? Because I love it and I'm bored of doing corporates. I can't go to a gig without wanting to film it, so I thought why not help out bands and provide a service that I enjoy and they can afford?
Why do you need a video?
Use a video of your last gig to promote the next one. Once I've delivered the video it's easy to put dates and location on the video using free software and start promoting your next gig online. I'll even show you how to do it. Give a copy to the venue, give a copy to your mates, get the word out there. Put the video on social media, send it to record companies and promoters, send it out t your fanbase, to journalists, document your band's journey or just keep a copy to show your kids when you're old.
So what do I get ?
£150 gives you one song, shot on a single hand held camera and edited and graded to be used as a promo. I'll give you a landscape version for you to keep as well as a portrait version for Social media. You'll get graphics with the name of the song, plus your logo and website / social media addresses. You'll get a version with the date of your next gig on, and a clean version for you to update the video for all of your other upcoming dates. I'll take audio from a zoom recording at the back of the room unless you can provide me with better. See examples here
EPK anyone?
Having made 1000's of music shows and videos I can put together an EPK for your band if that would help. That's a combination of interview, live footage, back stage footage and anything else we can come up with. The video here was part of a series of videos I did to help promote a new night, The People's Lounge in Portsmouth Guildhall. If commitments allow I'm always happy to help out new ventures.
